Noise Complaint!

Noise Complaint! is a game made in under 40 hours as part of a submission to the 2024 Global Game Jam at the Quinnipiac University jam site. The player uses a voice controlled megaphone blaster to defeat tomato-throwing clowns. This game utilizes microphone functionality and the blaster’s power is dependent on how loud the player yells into their microphone. This unique and attention-grabbing control made Noise Complaint! a popular and entertaining project when showcased at Quinnipiac University.

This game was created by myself and my colleagues John Roderick Cervantes Jr., Gary Stewart, and Marlee Susca. All art, design, and code assets were created by us during this 40 hour period, with the exception of background music. My primary contributions were coding, environment modeling, texturing, and sound design. Models were created in Autodesk 3ds Max and the game was made in the Unity game engine.

The game can be downloaded from the Global Game Jam website.
