Roxy Clean: Soap Skater is a game made in under 40 hours as part of a submission to the 2025 Global Game Jam at the Quinnipiac University jam site. The player controls the titular Roxy Clean as she skates around on a bar of soap, destroying scum and muck creatures that stand in her way. The game is inspired by prominent skateboarding games in the 90s and 2000s, and incorporates tricks and appropriate sound design reminiscent of those titles.
This game was created by myself and my colleagues John Roderick Cervantes Jr., Gary Stewart, Marlee Susca, and Daoning Cui. All art, design, and code assets for the game were created by us during this 40 hour period with the exception of background music and sound effects. The originally created art and 3D design made Roxy Clean: Soap Skater a noteworthy project when presented at Quinnipiac University. My primary contributions to the project were character modeling, environment modeling, texturing, sound design, and in-engine assembly. Models were created in Autodesk 3ds Max and the game was made in the Unity game engine.
The game can be downloaded from the Global Game Jam website.
