This poster was designed to notify UConn students that Windows 10 will no longer be able to connect to the University’s network once it is officially retired from Microsoft support updates. It achieves a subtle, yet intriguing appearance with design cues taken from 2010’s HiFi stereo systems. It plays off of the expression “turn up the volume to 11”, encouraging users to upgrade to Windows 11.
This design was created in Adobe Illustrator and displayed across UConn’s campuses through Carousel Digital Signage. All original Windows icons are property of Microsoft.
